**Serbian President to Form New Government**
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will start talks with some political parties on Wednesday. His goal is to form a new government.
**Who Will He Talk To?**
Vucic will meet with officials from four national minority parties and one small parliamentary party. These groups include:
* The Russian Party
* The Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (a group allied with Vucic’s SNS party)
* The United for Justice Party
* The Democratic Alliance of Croats in Vojvodina
* The We – Voice of the People party
**Why is This Important?**
National minority parties only need a small amount of votes to get seats in parliament. This makes it easier for them to join a government.
**Other Parties Not Invited**
Most opposition parties have said they will not attend these talks. They want to form their own government instead.
**What Happens Next?**
Prime Minister Milos Vucevic resigned in January, and the deadline to form a new government is April 18. If no new government is formed, elections will be held.
