**Serbian President Vucic Speaks Out on Recent Incidents**
Two and a half months have passed since the Novi Sad tragedy, says Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. He made this statement in a video posted on Instagram.
Vucic said that the state has done its job as promised regarding the investigation into the Novi Sad train station tragedy. He stated that the prosecutor’s office conducted an investigation, the police gathered all the information, and the prosecutor’s office filed charges.
The president also commented on a recent incident where a student was hit by a car during a protest in Belgrade on Thursday. He said that the suspect has been arrested and detained, with the crime classified at the highest severity level.
Vucic drew attention to another incident in Novi Sad, where an elderly woman was humiliated and injured because she held different views from the protesters. He emphasized that this image must never happen again in Serbia.
**Call for Accountability and De-escalation**
The Serbian president called for accountability in all incidents and urged de-escalation of tensions. He invited everyone to help reduce tensions and asked those organizing illegal gatherings to inform authorities so they can provide police protection from cars, buses, and other traffic.
