**Serbian President Denies Reports of Armed Faction**
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has denied reports of a faction of armed thugs in his party, the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).

In an interview with pro-regime TV Prva on December 31, Vucic said that the SNS has a 17,000-strong loyalist faction. He claimed that these loyalists are not thugs, but people who share his principles and values.
**Principles of Loyalty**
Vucic wrote on Instagram that the loyalists have their own oath, which includes not cooperating with those who destroyed the country in the period from 2000 to 2012.
**Criticism from Independent Media**
He criticized independent media outlets for reporting on the loyalist faction and accused them of lying. Vucic also accused opposition leaders of trying to ignite anger and hatred throughout Serbia.
**Proud of the SNS**
Vucic expressed pride in the SNS, saying that it is the best party to have changed Serbia for the better. He credited the loyalty and dedication of its members and sympathizers for this success.
