The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said that a period of unrest is finished. He was talking to reporters on Thursday with the president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
Vucic said that people have understood how and why some Serbs were not supported by the government in Kosovo and Republika Srpska. This led to protests.
“They have realized who was financing this and for what reason,” Vucic said.
The president also said that there is growing anger towards those involved in the unrest. He promised to do everything to keep the peace.
Vucic and other officials have been calling the student protests a “colored revolution.” This started after 15 people died at a train station in Novi Sad.
