**Serbian President Threatens to Fire Officials Who Don‘t Help with Protests**
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke to citizens in Leskovac, a city in eastern Serbia. He said he learned a lesson from recent protests and will make sure all government officials do their job.
Vucic told the crowd that anyone who doesn’t help keep order and law will be replaced. This includes police officers and prosecutors. He warned that those who don’t follow orders will lose their jobs.
The President also said again that the current problems in Serbia are caused by a “colored revolution“. This is a term used to describe an attempt to take power through protests and demonstrations.
Outside the theater, people gathered to protest Vucic’s visit. They were stopped by police, who set up a cordon around the area. The protesters chanted “leave” as they tried to get closer to the theater.
