**Russian Attack on Kryvyi Rih: Two Dead, 19 Injured**
On December 6, the Russian army launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region. The target was an administrative building, according to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council.
The attack caused damage to several buildings and vehicles. “Unfortunately, there are dead and injured,” said Vilkul. A 6-year-old child was among those injured and is being treated in a hospital with moderate condition.
**Emergency Operations Underway**
Rescue operations were quickly launched at the scene of the attack. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, confirmed that an administrative building had been damaged. He reported that eight people were initially injured and later updated that 13 were hurt.
**Death Toll Rises**
As more information came in, the death toll rose to two, with a man and another victim dying in the hospital. Vilkul announced that Monday would be a day of mourning in Kryvyi Rih.
**Residents Describe Chaos**
Local residents described the chaos caused by the attack. A woman named Tetiana said she was taking out the trash when the explosion occurred, causing her apartment ceiling to collapse. Another resident, Halyna, said she and her family were terrified during the attack.
**Previous Russian Attack on Ukraine**
The attack on Kryvyi Rih is part of a larger Russian assault on Ukraine, which has been ongoing since December 8. The Russians used 42 drones and five guided missiles to target residential areas, power grids, and other infrastructure in eight Ukrainian regions.
