A group of citizens who showed support for student protests in Serbia gathered in front of the Serbian Embassy in Budapest on February 2. They were demonstrating their solidarity with the students.
However, something unexpected happened during the gathering. An unknown man was seen waving his middle finger at them from a window of the embassy building. This incident caused upset among the citizens.
The group demanded an apology and an explanation for what had happened. They asked who the man in the video was and why he had behaved in such a way. The Embassy was asked to take measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Despite sending a letter with their demands, the Embassy invited some of them to meet. However, the citizens refused this invitation, saying that an apology should be made publicly, not privately.
The citizens are still waiting for an explanation and apology from the Embassy. The diplomatic mission has not responded to their requests yet.
