**World Bank Gives Ukraine $664 Million for Social Support**
The World Bank has approved another big loan to help Ukraine. This time, it’s $664 million to support social protection programs.
Since the war in 2014, the World Bank has given Ukraine a total of nearly $55 billion. The new money will be used to help people who are struggling due to the conflict.
The government says that $602 million will go into the general state budget fund. This means it will help support the country’s overall economy.
**Helping Vulnerable Groups**
The project, called INSPIRE, aims to provide social protection for people who need it most. This includes housing and utility subsidies, as well as aid for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
“Socially important initiatives are a priority,” said Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko. “This project will make our social protection programs more effective.”
**Private Investment Difficult**
Ukraine is having trouble attracting private investment to rebuild the country. One reason is power outages and security concerns.
