**TV Channel Not Closing, Says Founder**
The founder of the “Mtavari Arkhi” TV channel, Zaza Oquashvili, says that closing the channel is not a decision he has made. Instead, he accuses the current director, Giorgi Gabunia, and former director Nika Gvaramia of slander.
Oquashvili released a statement saying that Gabunia’s claims are false and part of a plan to damage his reputation and the interests of the channel. He says that there have been problems with the channel’s management for several months, but no action has been taken by him or other partners to close it down.
**Blame on Directors**
Oquashvili points out that the directors of the “Mtavari Arkhi” TV company are responsible for its bankruptcy. He says that they have used their positions to embezzle money and turn the channel into a machine for laundering millions of dollars abroad.
The founder also takes aim at former director Nika Gvaramia, saying he has questions about how Gvaramia was able to fund his opposition party without any issues.
**Support for Channel**
Oquashvili says that despite the problems with the channel’s management, he is committed to supporting it and ensuring its continued work without interruption. He wants the staff and management to be able to continue their jobs without worrying about personal wealth or financial stability.
