**Ukrainian President Visits Poland to Commemorate Auschwitz Liberation**
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Poland for a special event. The event is to remember the 80th anniversary of when the Nazis were driven out of the camp called Auschwitz.
Auschwitz was one of the largest camps where the Nazis killed millions of people, mostly Jews. The date of January 27 is now known as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Before going to Poland, President Zelensky visited a place in Ukraine called Babyn Yar. It’s where the Nazis killed many Jewish people back in 1941.
President Zelensky will meet with other world leaders while he’s in Poland. He’ll talk to Antonio Costa from Europe and Emmanuel Macron from France. Many other important people, including German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and British King Charles III, are also attending the event.
