The president said during the press conference that he thought Trump wanted to end Russia’s war quickly, but he hadn’t discussed a plan. “If it is just fast, then it will be a loss for Ukraine. I don’t understand how it could be any other way. “Maybe we don’t know something, don’t see,” he said.
Trump said during his campaign that if he were elected, he would end Russia’s conflict with Ukraine. He also said in September that he’d negotiate a deal which was “good for both sides.”
