This move comes after a similar request was made to revoke the Hero of Ukraine award from member Yuriy Boyko last month. Boyko had repeated Russian propaganda talking points on social media. He previously led the banned pro-Russian Opposition Platform — For Life.

Boyko was awarded the title Hero of Ukraine in 2004, but lawmakers have asked to take it away due to his recent actions.

**More Names May Be Affected**

Lawmaker said that there are still many names on the list for award revocation. This indicates that more individuals may face sanctions and loss of state titles in the future.
