**Zelensky Invites US Vice President to Visit Ukraine**
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has invited US Vice President JD Vance to visit Ukraine again. This was announced by Zelensky in an interview with Time magazine on March 24.
The invitation is not new. In February, during a heated argument in the Oval Office, Zelensky asked Vance to see the consequences of the Russian war for himself. However, Vance replied that he had already seen reports about the situation and didn’t need to visit Ukraine.
**Vance Refused to Visit Due to Alleged Propaganda**
The US vice president claimed that he refused to visit Ukraine because the government allegedly organizes “propaganda tours” showing Russia’s destruction in the country. Zelensky has made similar invitations to Vance during recent phone calls, but the American official did not respond.
**Vance Has Criticized Ukraine and Zelensky Before**
It is worth noting that JD Vance has repeatedly criticized Ukraine and President Zelensky in the past. At times, he has repeated Kremlin talking points. He even said that he “doesn’t care about Ukraine” just days after Russia’s full-scale invasion began.
**New Ceasefire Talks Begin**
Meanwhile, a new round of US-Russia talks on a ceasefire in Ukraine started in Riyadh on March 24. The meeting is expected to focus on a ceasefire in the Black Sea and broader truce negotiations.
