**Ukraine to Meet with US in Saudi Arabia**
President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced his team for upcoming talks with the United States in Saudi Arabia. The meeting is scheduled for March 8.
Zelensky will be joined by Ukrainian officials, including Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa. Zelensky’s chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, will also attend the talks.
**US Delegation**
The US team is expected to include Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump‘s envoy to the Middle East, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz. The meeting comes amid tensions between Ukraine and the United States.
**Tensions Rise**
The situation escalated after a confrontation in the White House Oval Office on February 28. Zelensky was insulted by Trump and Vice President JD Vance during a meeting to sign an agreement. As a result, the US ended its military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.
**Ukraine Faces Challenges**
Ukrainian troops have suffered significant losses since the US cut off their aid. The country‘s occupation of the Kursk region has put 10,000 troops in danger of being encircled.
