Zelensky: Next Ramstein meeting will take place in the ‘coming weeks’

his evening address of October 30, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the next meeting of Ukraine Defense Contact Group (also known as the Ramstein Format) will take place in “coming weeks”.
The White House announced on October 17 that the next Ramstein-format meeting would be held virtually in November, but did not reveal the exact date.
The U.S. president Joe had originally planned to convene the leader-level meeting for the Ukraine Defense Contact Group on October 12 in Germany, but it was postponed due to Hurricane Milton.
Zelensky stated that it was important to fully implement each support package and to ensure that our actions are as coordinated and effective as possible with our partners.
The Ukraine Defense Contact Group, led by the United States, is composed of over 50 countries including all 32 NATO member states. It meets at the U.S. Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The group’s last meeting in Ramstein on Sept. 6, was its 24th since it was established in 2022.
The virtual Ramstein meeting to be held in the near future will be the first at the level of leaders. Zelensky attended the last meeting in person and secured more military aid, including from the U.S.A., U.. Germany, Canada, and other allies.
Zelensky had planned to present his five point victory plan at the initial , but he met leaders individually after the summit was postponed.

According to the U.S. Treasury Department, the recent restrictions are applied to companies that are involved in networks of sanctions evasion in 17 jurisdictions including China, India Malaysia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Thailand and Turkey.
