**Russia Launches ICBM Against Ukraine**
On November 21, Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) against the city of Dnipro in eastern Ukraine. This is the first time a Russian ICBM has been used in the war against Ukraine.
According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, the missile was launched from southern Russia and had a speed and altitude that suggested it was an ICBM. The Air Force reported that six out of seven cruise missiles were downed.
The attack injured at least two people and damaged several buildings, including a rehabilitation center for people with disabilities.
**Putin Using Ukraine as Training Ground**
President Zelensky accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of using Ukraine as his “training ground.” He said this in a video address on his Telegram channel. The attack came shortly after the US allowed Ukraine to carry out strikes against Russia with Western long-range missiles.
The Ukrainian president also mentioned that Russia is trying to obtain new missiles from countries like North Korea and Iran. He thanked all Ukrainian men and women who are protecting their country from Russian aggression.
**Ukraine’s Day of Dignity and Freedom**
November 21 marked Ukraine’s Day of Dignity and Freedom, which commemorates the Orange Revolution in 2004 and the EuroMaidan Revolution in 2013-14. President Zelensky used this occasion to emphasize the importance of protecting human dignity.
