**Russia Hits Ukraine with Huge Amount of Aerial Attacks**
This week, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russian forces fired nearly 1,200 aerial bombs, over 870 attack drones, and more than 80 missiles against Ukraine.
The weapons used by Russia contained over 82,000 foreign components, according to Zelensky. This shows how much of the technology used in these attacks is not made in Russia itself.
**Many People Injured or Killed**
On March 7, Russia carried out a big aerial attack on Ukraine. They fired 67 missiles and 194 drones against gas and energy infrastructure across the country. Russia also attacked a hotel in Kryvyi Rih, killing six people and injuring over 30 others, including children.
In another attack, Russia killed 11 people and injured almost 50 in Dobropillia, Donetsk Oblast.
**US Halts Military Aid**
The attacks happened just after the US stopped its military aid to Ukraine. The US also halted intelligence sharing with Kyiv. Experts say that this will make it harder for Ukraine to detect Russian aerial strikes on time.
Ukrainian officials are working with foreign partners to find alternatives for intelligence and defense.
