On Oct. 25, signed a law allowing foreign volunteers to serve Ukraine’ Legion as officers. The bill was passed by Zelensky after the Ukrainian parliament unanimously approved the amendments to the original draft law. Ukraine’s International Legion, which was launched in 2022 at the beginning of Russia’s full-scale attack on Ukraine, attracted foreigners who volunteered. Military veterans from the , , the U.K.A, Australia, Europe and beyond have joined the unit. In recent weeks, troops have been seen training with in front-line regions. Officials warned, citing intelligence, that North Korean soldiers could join the fight with Russian forces as soon as October -28.
