On Oct. 25, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed law allowing volunteers to serve in ‘s as officers. The bill was passed by Zelensky after the parliament unanimously approved the amendments to the original . Ukraine’s International Legion, which was launched in 2022 at the beginning of Russia’s full-scale attack on Ukraine, attracted foreigners who volunteered.
