**Ukraine and UK Plan Meeting on Peacekeeping Force**
President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine spoke with Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the UK about coordinating steps for Ukraine’s security. The phone call took place on March 31.
The two leaders discussed plans to meet with military representatives from countries that have pledged to contribute peacekeeping troops and other security assurances. This group is called the “coalition of the willing”.
According to Zelensky, a meeting between military representatives will be held in Ukraine later this week. The purpose of this meeting is to prepare for contingents of peacekeeping forces.
Zelensky also mentioned that he appreciates the UK’s position regarding pressure on Russia. He believes that pressure must be strong enough to prevent the Russians from expanding their war.
Starmer shared with Zelensky details about his recent conversation with US President Donald Trump. The two leaders agreed to keep up “collective pressure” on Russian President Vladimir Putin.
