**Ukrainian Long-Range Drone Completes Testing**
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced on March 17 that a Ukrainian long-range drone has successfully completed testing. The drone was able to fly for 3,000 kilometers.
Zelensky made the announcement during an evening address after meeting with top military officials. He said: “There is good news about long-range drones. Our drone has passed a 3,000-kilometer test.”
The Ukrainian government uses long-range drones to attack Russian military targets, such as airfields and oil refineries.
**New Missile Development**
During the meeting, officials also discussed a new long-range missile developed by Ukraine, called the Long Neptune. Zelensky said that more missiles need to be produced and that he will be discussing this with partners soon.
Ukraine’s Navy is the only part of the Armed Forces using the Long Neptun missiles. The country has also developed hybrid drone-missiles, such as the Palianytsia and Peklo models.
**Goal to Produce More Drones**
President Zelensky has set a goal to produce at least 30,000 long-range drones by 2025. This is part of Ukraine’s efforts to strengthen its defense capabilities against Russia.
