**Ukrainian President Visits Finland**
On March 18, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Olena Zelenska arrived in Finland for an official visit. They were welcomed at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.
The visit was organized by Finnish President Alexander Stubb and his wife Suzanne Innes-Stubb. It will start with a welcome ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki.
**Key Issues to be Discussed**
During their meeting, Zelensky will talk about Finland’s support for Ukraine and ways to end the Russian war. Other officials participating in the talks include Finnish Finance Minister Riikka Purra and Defense Minister Antti Hakkanen.
The presidents are also expected to hold a joint press conference. After that, local defense company representatives will meet with Zelensky to discuss investments in Ukraine’s defense industry and further military support.
**Other Meetings**
Zelensky will meet Finnish Parliament Speaker Jussi Halla-Aho and Prime Minister Petteri Orpo on March 19. He will also attend an event at the University of Helsinki, where Stubb will give a speech.
**Ukraine First Lady’s Plans**
Olena Zelenska plans to hold meetings focused on educational cooperation with Finnish representatives. She will discuss expanding Ukrainian studies in schools and improving school security.
She will also meet business leaders and philanthropists. Since Russia‘s invasion of Ukraine, Finland has given 2.5 billion euros ($2.6 billion) in defense aid.
