**North Korean Troops in Ukraine**
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has revealed that Russia is deploying North Korean soldiers in parts of Ukraine. This was announced on Saturday in a video address.
**Only in Kursk Oblast So Far**
For now, the North Korean troops are only present in the Kursk Oblast region of Ukraine. However, there are reports that they could be deployed to other areas as well. It’s also been reported that these troops have already suffered losses on the battlefield.
**Escalation by Russia**
President Zelenskyy has accused Russian leader Putin of escalating the conflict and preventing peace. He claims that Putin is ignoring calls from other countries, including China and Brazil, to calm things down. Without a strong global response, Ukraine fears that Russia will only make the war worse.
**Protecting Against Drones**
Meanwhile, a Russian official says that air defenses called Pantsir will be used to protect refineries against drone attacks by Ukraine. However, a report suggests that not all vulnerable energy facilities in Ukraine may be protected.
