**Ukrainian President Slams Weak Support at G20 Summit**
Ukraine’s leader, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is upset about the weak support shown for Ukraine at a recent meeting of world leaders. The G20 summit in Brazil failed to take a strong stance against Russia’s actions.
Brazil’s president was criticized by Zelenskyy for not speaking out against Russia’s aggression. Most Brazilians support Ukraine, but the summit’s outcome did not reflect this. Zelenskyy said that for good international relations, it is essential to support people, not countries like Russia that are causing harm.
The final statement from the G20 summit was criticized for being too weak. It only mentioned Ukraine briefly and did not condemn Russia’s nuclear threats or attacks on food and energy infrastructure. This year’s statement was much shorter than last year’s, with only one paragraph dedicated to Ukraine compared to seven paragraphs last time.
Zelenskyy said that the situation created by the G20 summit is difficult and scandalous. He stressed that leaders must take a strong stance against aggressors like Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
