Ukraine’s F-16 Fighters Help Defend Against Russian Missiles.
The Ukrainian military has a small number of F-16 fighter jets. But these planes have been very useful in stopping Russian missiles from hitting Ukraine‘s cities and infrastructure.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the F-16s have done well so far. He told Sky News that they had stopped seven cruise missiles just two nights ago.
President Zelenskyy is pleased with how effective the F-16s are despite their small number.
