**Ukraine and Germany Agree on Defense Cooperation**
The leaders of Ukraine and Germany have agreed to continue their defense cooperation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz over the phone.
**Germany Promises More Air Defense Systems**
As part of this cooperation, Germany promised to deliver a sixth IRIS-T air defense system to Ukraine by the end of 2025. This is an important step for Ukraine as it tries to protect its energy infrastructure from Russian attacks.
**Next Meeting in November**
The two leaders also agreed on the next meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group. It will take place online in November, instead of being held in person as previously planned.
**Germany’s Support for Ukraine**
President Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of presenting Ukraine’s vision of a just peace at an upcoming international summit in Brazil. He said that Germany would support him in this effort.
**Germany Can Still Provide Aid**
Despite recent problems with Germany’s government, it is still able to provide aid to Ukraine. This includes a larger portion of the €4 billion promised earlier.
**Recent Deliveries**
Major General Christian Freuding reported that two IRIS-T anti-aircraft systems were delivered to Ukraine in early October by Germany.
