**Zelenskyy Calls for Full NATO Membership**
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has asked the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) ministers to support Ukraine‘s full membership. He believes this will bring peace and security to his country.
**Mixed Reactions from NATO Members**
Not all NATO members are in favor of Ukraine joining the alliance immediately. Some, like Norway, think it’s a good idea, but others have concerns about defense. Germany and at least five other countries don‘t want Ukraine to join right away due to these concerns.
**No Territorial Exclusions**
Zelenskyy has made it clear that he wants Ukraine to be a full member of NATO, including territories currently occupied by Russia. He believes this is key to peace in the region.
