According to Ukrainska Pravda, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a Victory Plan would be presented to European Partners this week along with edits suggested by its allies.
The importance of the victory plan lies in coordinating with partners internationally to secure the necessary legal and military mechanisms to achieve Ukraine’s objectives. This plan is meant to be a framework to help both domestic and international efforts in bringing the war to an end, as Ukraine continues to defend its self.
“This week, all of our European partners will hear our strategy to force Russia to end the war in a fair manner. The Victory Plan, along with the initial reactions we have received from partners, will be made public, Zelenskyy said.
The Ukrainian president reported that he had also heard a briefing by Oleksandr Kamyshin, his advisor on strategic matters. Zelenskyy stated that, as of 14th October, a million drones were already procured using state funds and delivered along with supplies by volunteers to the front.
Earlier, the advisor of the head of the President’s Office Serhii Leschenko and sources within the Servant of the People Party reported that Zelenskyy was to speak at the Ukrainian Parliament, where he will present Ukraine’s Victory Plan, on 16 October.
Zelenskyy’s plan was outlined on 11 October. The main goal is to create conditions that prevent Russia from prolonging war.
The president said that his top priorities were “to strengthen Ukraine’s position” and “to create conditions for honest diplomacy.”
