Zurab Japaridze Released After Arrest
Zurab Girchi Japaridze, a leader of the “Coalition for Change“, was arrested on Chavchavadze Avenue at dawn. However, he has now been released.
Japaridze confirmed his release himself on social media. He posted a photo taken in a car and wrote: “I’m outside.”
There had been a confrontation between police forces and protesters before Japaridze’s arrest. Details about the incident are still emerging.
