**Germany to Discuss Additional Steps in Georgia**
A meeting between German officials and Georgian leaders is planned. Zurab Japaridze, a leader of the “Coalition for Change,” spoke about the upcoming discussion.
Japaridze said that Michael Roth, Chair of the Bundestag‘s Foreign Affairs Committee, will meet with him. He described Roth as well-informed about current events in Georgia and actively involved in the country’s processes.
The meeting is important because it shows Germany’s continued interest in Georgia’s situation. Japaridze mentioned that even though Roth may soon leave his position, he still plans to work on issues related to the Caucasus region.
Japaridze said that the discussion with Roth will likely focus on what more Germany can do to help address the situation in Georgia.
