Zurab Japaridze (ZJ): I support any effort to unite forces. However, I believe that the most urgent and important task is to establish an unified and clear position about how to defeat the régime, which we will then explain to the citizens, and then implement with them.  

Coalition for Change Leader Speaks Out

Zurab Japaridze, a leader of the “Coalition for Change,” has shared his thoughts on uniting forces to defeat the current regime. He wrote about it on social media.

Japaridze said he supports any attempt to unite forces. However, he believes that establishing a clear position on how to defeat the regime is more important. This plan should be explained to citizens and implemented together with them.

Coordination among political parties already exists, Japaridze noted. He is ready to participate if new “directions” emerge. Two demands are agreed upon: holding new parliamentary elections and releasing political prisoners. Japaridze fully supports these demands.

Japaridze emphasized that agreement on fundamental principles is necessary. These principles should include not giving legitimacy to the regime through any action. A unified and clear position on how to defeat the regime must also be established.
