**Lithuanians Show Support for Georgia**
A rally was held in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, to show support for the people of Georgia. This is according to Žygimantas Pavilionis, a high-ranking official in the Lithuanian Parliament.
Pavilionis wrote on social media that the event was a “solidarity” event. He wanted to show support for the Georgian people who are fighting against what he called the “Russian dream” and the “Georgian nightmare”.
In other words, Pavilionis wants to say that Georgia’s struggle is not just an internal issue, but also involves Russia‘s influence. The rally was held to show support for Georgia’s rightful place in both the European Union and NATO.
