Representatives of opposition groups gathered at the Central Election Commission of Georgia. Today, they will discuss the re-election plan and the action plan.
According to their assessment the principle of secrecy has been violated in 90% precincts and the results for these precincts must be annulled. According to Giorgi Sioridze who was an opposition member of CEC and told journalists in advance, the Tetritskaro District Court confirmed this fact.
“Today the opposition members of CEC will meet, we will have an working meeting to plan the proper procedural steps. This is a direct result of yesterday’s extraordinary fact. The Tetritskaro District Court, after an inspection, annulled district results where the principle of secrecy had been violated. If the so-called Tetritskaro The Principle of Secrecy was broken at technological precincts, because the back of a ballot showed who the voter had voted for, then this means that this principle has been violated in all precincts, where 90% of Georgians are concentrated. This means that 90% should be annulled,” Sioridze said.
According to him they will try and plan appropriate procedures on the level of election administration.
Sioridze also responded to a request from a group of non-governmental organisations that the question of responsibility of CEC chairman Giorgi Kalandarishvili in the case of an alleged election fraud be raised. Giorgi Sioridze says that all state agencies are involved in fraud.
“The special operation on October 26 was so large that it involved the election administration, Susi, and many other state agencies. Everyone who took part in this special operation and contributed to the hijacking the elections must be held responsible. The rest of the evidence should be revealed as a result from the objective investigation that should be conducted by a non-Georgian prosecutor‘s office,” said Sioridze.
