**Georgian President Questions EU Sanctions**
The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, has expressed doubts about the effectiveness of EU sanctions. In an interview, she said that the US is better at using sanctions as a tool.
According to her, negotiations are underway between the US and EU on how to impose sanctions more effectively. The President thinks that EU sanctions may not be enough to make a big difference. She believes that restrictions on aid could lead to a financial crisis in Georgia.
The President also pointed out that the EU has 27 countries with different opinions, which makes it harder for them to agree on personal sanctions. In contrast, the US has more experience and success with using sanctions as a tool.
