**Bosnia and Herzegovina Protests Serbia’s Participation in Republika Srpska Day**

A formal protest note has been sent by Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Foreign , Elmedin Konakovic, to Serbia. The reason is that attended a celebration of Republika Srpska Day.

This day, January 9, is considered unconstitutional in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic and Speaker of the Serbian Parliament led the delegation at this event.

The Foreign reminded Serbia of previous decisions by the of BiH and the Office of the High Representative. These decisions stated that celebrating January 9 was against Bosnia’s Constitution.

Despite this, Serbian congratulated Republika Srpska on their holiday. He wished prosperity for all and said Serbia would stand with Republika Srpska through hard times ahead.
