Volunteers from Swindon, Bath, and Ipswich joined a “wrapathon” event organized by The Plant and Hire Aid Alliance. This is the third year of this event, and over 45,000 gifts have been sent to children in Ukraine so far.

The Ipswich wrapathon took place Saturday at Claydon High School, while Swindon volunteers gathered at the Swindon Humanitarian Aid . A second event will be on Sunday in Swindon. In Bath, the wrapathon happened at Oldfield Park Scala.

**Getting Involved**

According to Mr. Fish, a lot of people are needed to make this event successful. Volunteers must bring wrapping paper, Sellotape, and scissors. The event aims to give everyone involved a feeling that they’ve done something nice for children. Many people have already sent photos showing the joy on children’s faces when unwrapping their presents.
