New Elections in Georgia: Opposition Shares Views with President
Giorgi Vashadze, leader of the Strategy Builder, spoke to journalists before meeting with President Salome Zurabishvili. He explained that the opposition will share their views on holding new elections.
Vashadze stated that the OSCE/ODIHR report has created a new reality in Georgia. The report confirmed that the recent elections were unfair and held illegally. This, he said, means that the current election results have no legitimacy.
The Strategy Builder leader emphasized that the opposition wants to discuss with the President when and how new elections should be held. They will also share their views on what changes need to be made to create a trustworthy environment for these elections. This includes improving the electoral process, administration, and political climate in Georgia.
