**Protest Movement Continues**
The protest movement in Georgia is getting stronger. This was said by Nika Melia, a leader of the “Coalition for Change”. He believes that the more people protest peacefully inside the country, the more support they will get from the international community.
Melia says that the current government is illegitimate because it doesn’t have the recognition of many countries, including the USA and European Union member states. The opposition and civil society groups also don’t recognize this government. Because of this, the government is in a difficult position – both inside and outside the country.
**People Will Not Obey**
Melia believes that citizens will not obey an illegitimate government. He says that people’s disobedience will continue until new elections are held in Georgia. This is the goal of the protest movement.
**No Stopping the Process**
The leader of “Coalition for Change” thinks that when election results don’t reflect the voters‘ will, their voices should be heard on the streets. Melia says that nothing can stop this process except for new elections.
