**Patriarchate Denies False Information on Social Media**
A false report is spreading on social media. It claims that Metropolitan Shio of Senaki and Chkhorotsku was told by the Patriarchal Throne to punish a priest at the Kashueti Cathedral for opening the church.
The statement from the Public Relations Service of the Patriarchate says this information is completely false. They say it’s being spread to cause problems, create conflict, and harm the reputation of the Church.
**Kashueti Cathedral Remains Open**
According to the Patriarchate, the Kashueti Cathedral is still open to everyone. Clergy are present there and will help citizens if they need it.
This is not the first time false information has been spread about the Georgian Orthodox Church on social media. The page “World Church News” has done this before and is known for spreading lies about clergy members, including Metropolitan Shio.
