Zelenskyy cautions of Russian plot to target Ukrainian nuclear plants

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed concern over Russia’s alleged plans to attack three as winter approaches. During a UN meeting, Zelenskyy emphasized the seriousness of the situation, stating, “We are now entering the third winter of this . Russia is once again attempting to destroy our energy infrastructure, and this time they are even more cynical by targeting our nuclear power plants. We have evidence to support this claim.”

Zelenskyy stressed the gravity of Russia’s potential actions, stating, “If Russia is willing to go to such lengths, it shows that they have no regard for human life. This level of cynicism will continue if we allow them to do so.”

The leader previously revealed this information during an interview with ABC News, where he expressed concerns about Russia’s activities involving Ukrainian nuclear facilities. Zelenskyy accused Russia of using Chinese satellites to gather information and possibly prepare for strikes. “We have received information that Russia has been using Chinese satellites to take detailed photos of our nuclear facilities. Based on our experience, this could indicate a potential threat of strikes against these facilities,” Zelenskyy stated.

Zelenskyy did not specify whether the satellites were commercial or controlled by the Chinese government, but he plans to share this information with leaders at the UN this week.

During the UN Security Council meeting, Zelenskyy also mentioned the Peace Formula, which aims to protect the UN Charter. He extended invitations to and for the second Peace Summit, with having already been invited.

These developments come as Zelenskyy visits the to present his “Victory Plan” to President Joe and other key American political leaders. The plan, according to Zelenskyy, is aimed at strengthening Ukraine and forcing Russia into fair negotiations.
