**UAE Court Allows Georgian Politicians and Citizen to Remain Free**
The court in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has allowed three Georgian Dream MPs and a citizen to remain free until their case is heard. The MPs, Irakli Zarqua, Viqtor Sanikidze, and Gela Samkharauli, were questioned by police along with citizen Lasha Gabitashvili since January 14.
**Background of the Incident**
On January 13, the three Georgian Dream MPs physically confronted Gabitashvili in a hotel dining area in Abu Dhabi. Video footage showed Irakli Zarqua throwing food at Gabitashvili and later physically confronting him, with Viqtor Sanikidze joining the altercation.
**Lasha Gabitashvili’s Statement**
In a statement released by his wife, Lasha Gabitashvili said he was glad that the incident occurred in a free and responsible country. He expressed gratitude to the Georgian people for their support and love during this time. Gabitashvili also thanked his family, old friends, and new acquaintances, as well as Olga, who is his personal hero.
**Future Court Hearing**
The case of the three MPs and the citizen will be heard in court within a week. Until then, they are prohibited from leaving the UAE. Radio Liberty reported that both Gabitashvili and the Georgian Dream MPs have been questioned by police since January 14.
