**Protest Leader Speaks Out**
Khatia Dekanoidze, a leader of the “Unity – National Movement,” addressed protesters near Tbilisi Mall. She said that no one is afraid of the government or its Minister of Internal Affairs, Gomealuri.
Dekanoidze pointed out that if many people gather together, the government will not arrest thousands of them. She asked why she, with her serious social media posts, had not been arrested like some other protesters.
The protest leader mentioned two activists who are currently in jail. Mzia Amaghlobeli has been on a hunger strike for 22 days, and another activist from Batumi is also imprisoned. Dekanoidze warned that every day the protesters stop, they let the government watch them, which is not what they want.
**”Let Them Arrest Me”**
Dekanoidze expressed her confidence in the people’s courage. She said, “I don‘t think anyone is afraid. If we are many, there will be no fear.” She invited the government to arrest her and other protesters if they dare.
The protest leader emphasized that she and others are fully aware of what they’re doing. They are not afraid of Gomealuri or the regime in general. Dekanoidze concluded by saying that the sanctioned Minister of Internal Affairs and his employees will come and go, but they do not present a reason to be afraid.
